Jürgen Klopp named new Liverpool coach

Liverpool have made it official that Jürgen Klopp is to be the new man in charge at Anfield.

“Liverpool Football Club are delighted to announce Jürgen Klopp has been appointed as the club’s new manager”, a club statement read, although it made no reference to how long the German will be at the helm. Klopp will be presented at a press conference at Anfield on Friday morning.

The 48-year-old manager, who was all smiles when seen signing his contract wearing a Liverpool training shirt, will most likely be on board for the next three seasons according to the British press. Klopp joins the Merseysiders accompanied by his regular coaching staff, Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz.
