Kenya for the first time in history clings to the top of the just ended IAAF World Championships in China, Beijing. They won a total of 16 medals with which 7 were GOLD, 6 were SILVER AND 3 BRONZE. Kenya has made Africa proud with their astonishing performance even at a stage where icons like Usain Bolt and the likes, of which others from USA, China, France, Italy, Canada, Russia, Cuba, etc. have participated.

To decorate the good performance by Kenyans in Beijing, Asbel Kiprop closed the day with a deserved gold for Kenya as Elijah Motonei settled for silver in the men’s 1500m final on Sunday afternoon.

Congratulations Kenya…
